Tracy Camilla Johns was born in Queens, New York, and got her big break from the famous Brooklyn director Spike Lee. He cast her in his cinematic debut, She’s Gotta Have It (1986), in which she plays a woman who has three simultaneous sexual relationships. Unsurprisingly, she shows off what it is that we need to have. The movie brought Tracy limited success, though, spawning only a cameo on Family Ties, a video vixen role in Tone Loc: Wild Thing (1989), bit parts in Mo’ Better Blues (1990) and New Jack City (1991), and a recurring role on the short-lived television series Snoops. And although it’s not an official acting credit, she appeared in a 1988 advertisement for Air Jordan sneakers with Michael Jordan and Spike Lee. Tracy dropped off the radar in 1991, but she left us with some jack-off material in New Jack City. In an earlier scene, Tracy flaunts her fantastic figure as an erotic dancer. We see her cleavage and thong-clad ass, but it’s not till a later scene that she gets nude, baring boobs and butt during passionate lovemaking with Wesley Snipes. Tracy spent the rest of the ’90s and the entire 2000s in hiding, but she returned to the screen in Lee’s 2012 picture Red Hook Summer. A few years later she appeared in the She’s Gotta Have It TV series before leaving us once again. Tracy’s ripe, round gazongas will always be with us, though.
